It isn’t just about having good ingredients. It’s about which ingredients you use, their quality, and the precise ratios they’re combined.
When we created Omnia Bene LUXE Body Butter, we wanted a true body butter—rich, heavy, deeply hydrating and incredibly velvety on the skin.
That started with five carefully selected ingredients.
Organic Shea Butter
Shea butter is a powerhouse moisturizer and the deeply conditioning foundation of LUXE.
Naturally rich in fatty acids and vitamins, it helps strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier, soothe dry skin and reduce moisture loss. Its rich emollient properties help soften rough skin, improve suppleness and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles that can become more noticeable when skin is dry.
Organic Mango Butter
Mango butter brings another level of nourishment to the formula.
Rich in essential fatty acids, it helps condition rough, dry skin, improve suppleness and support the skin’s natural renewal process. It also contributes to that wonderfully rich, creamy texture you expect from a luxury body butter.
Organic Jojoba Oil
Jojoba is particularly interesting because it’s technically a liquid wax ester rather than an oil.
Its composition is similar to the skin’s natural sebum, making it an exceptional skin conditioner. It helps soften skin, support moisture retention and improve the feel of dry skin while balancing beautifully with the heavier butters in our formula.
Organic Fractionated Coconut Oil
Fractionated coconut oil plays a very different role.
Its lighter texture helps our rich body butter spread smoothly and glide across the skin. It conditions and softens rough texture while helping distribute the other botanical ingredients evenly as LUXE melts during application.
Vitamin E — Tocopherol
Vitamin E adds both antioxidant and conditioning benefits.
It helps protect against oxidative stress from environmental exposure, nourish dry skin and support the skin’s natural moisture barrier. It also helps promote a softer, smoother and healthier-looking appearance.
Here’s Where the Magic Happens
You could give two formulators these same five ingredients and end up with two very different body butters.
The ratios matter. A lot.
Too much of one butter can create something hard or waxy. Too much of an oil can make the finished product overly greasy.
Our proprietary formula combines specific ratios of each butter and botanical oil to create the distinctive LUXE consistency.
Rich. Thick. Smooth. Velvety.
It’s a substantial body butter—and it’s supposed to be. As you massage it into your skin, the butter softens and melts, spreading into a rich layer that leaves skin exceptionally soft, smooth and deeply moisturized.
The hydration can last up to 24 hours, making LUXE especially beneficial for dry and very dry skin and moisture-starved areas such as arms, legs, hands, elbows, knees and feet.
Why No Added Water?
This is an important part of what makes LUXE different.
Our Body Butter is waterless.
Look at the ingredient list on many body lotions, creams and moisturizers and you’ll see water (aqua) listed first. Cosmetic ingredients are generally listed in descending order by weight. When water is first, it represents one of the largest components of that formula.
Our formula doesn’t start with water, end with water, or contain any water.
It’s made from organic butters and botanical oils.
There’s no added water diluting those ingredients. LUXE is a concentrated, anhydrous formula, which is also why you don’t need to use a handful of it. A little goes a long way.
What’s Not in LUXE Matters, Too
We kept the formula focused on what we wanted on the skin.
No alcohol. No fillers. No sulfates. No phthalates. No mineral oil. No petroleum.
Just our carefully developed combination of organic shea butter, organic mango butter, organic jojoba oil, organic fractionated coconut oil and Vitamin E.
